Suggested Replies on Task Comments

Last updated: October 8, 2026

When you write a public reply on a task, Cloudy offers up to five ready-made replies based on the task and its comments. You pick one, edit it, and post it yourself. Internal comments get no suggestions.

Where suggestions appear

Open a task and find the comment box. Suggestions appear when the comment is set to a public, resident-visible comment. They appear near the box as short chips.

Use a suggestion

Click a chip and its text fills the comment box. One suggestion usually resolves the request, one asks the resident for more information, and one follows up. Edit the text before you post; nothing is posted until you post it.

Read it as if you wrote it

A suggestion may promise something you can't give, such as a date or a refund. Read it the way the resident will, and change anything that overcommits.

Internal comments

Internal comments, the ones residents can't see, get no suggestions.
