Require Residents to Update Contacts During Profile Confirmation
Last updated: October 2, 2026

Click Config to access configuration settings.

Click the checkbox to add your desired contact types to the profile conformation page.

With the field(s) enabled, residents will now see additional, required, contact fields when starting their application on the profile confirmation page.

Requirement Enabled
The number of contact types required is dependent on the number selected on the configuration screen.

When completing the Emergency Contacts section, residents must provide the name, personal email, phone number, and relationship for each emergency contact.

After submitting the required contact types, residents will click Continue to finalize the profile confirmation page. Residents will not be able to return to this page once it has been submitted.

Note: Residents will not be able to submit their emergency contacts if the contact type selected does not match your requirement. If not matching, a banner will inform residents of the missing contact type.

Requirement Disabled
The emergency contact section of the profile confirmation page will not populate.

Restrict Guardian Contact Requirement to Underage Students
If the setting to "Require guardian?" in Required Contact Types is enabled as shown in the first section, an additional option will be available at the Cycle level that allows the requirement to be restricted to underage students only.
Under the Docs & Forms section of the cycle editor, the Guardian Requirement section allows you set which behavior you would prefer (note: this defaults to "No", meaning that all applicants will be required to submit a guardian contact in the Profile Confirmation section of the Application)
If this setting is changed to "Yes", a student under the age of 18 will see the input for a Guardian Contact as shown below, whereas someone over 18 would not:

As a reminder, this setting applies to a Cycle level, meaning that you can decide whether you want this to apply within each specific cycle.
