Create and Manage Custom Table Views
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Custom table views provide administrators with tailored displays for managing data, such as profiles, applications, residents, or tasks. By applying filters and saving them as reusable views, workflows are streamlined, and relevant data becomes more accessible.
Create a Table View
Navigate to the relevant section, such as Tasks, Profiles, Residents, or Applications.

Apply filters to narrow the data table to your desired criteria (e.g., filtering by “Status: Current”). Learn more about filters here.

Open the View dropdown menu.

Click Create View.

Enter a name for the view and click Save.

The custom view is now accessible from the dropdown menu for quick access.

Update a View
Adjust the filters to refine the data. For example, if your current view shows students with the status “Current,” you can add a filter for “Blue Hall” to see only “Current students in Blue Hall.”

Once the filters are updated, click Update to save the changes.

A confirmation will appear verifying the update.

Rename a View
Open the custom view you want to change and click Rename from the options.

Enter the new name and click Rename again to confirm.

A confirmation will appear verifying the custom view has been re-named.

Organize Table Views into Folders
Custom views can be grouped into folders for easier organization.
Select the custom view you wish to move and click Move to Folder.

Choose an existing folder or click New Folder to create one.

Name the folder and click Create.

A confirmation will appear verifying the view has been moved.

Views within folders are accessible by clicking the folder dropdown.

Delete a Table View
Select the custom view to delete and click Delete.

Click Delete to confirm. Views cannot be restored after deletion.
