Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard is the main landing page for the Admin Portal and serves as a central hub for monitoring key housing activity. As soon as an admin logs into Housing.Cloud, they are brought directly to the Dashboard. This space is designed to give housing teams at-a-glance visibility into critical data points across applications, assignments, occupancy, and more—without needing to run a report.

Access the Dashboard

The Dashboard automatically loads when logging in to the Admin Portal. It can also be accessed anytime by clicking Dashboard in the navigation menu.

Both of the following URLs will bring admins to the dashboard:

• yourschool.housing.cloud/admin

• yourschool.housing.cloud/admin/dashboard

Dashboard Overviews

The data on the Dashboard comes from a series of pre-built data overviews created by the Housing.Cloud team. These overviews reflect high-priority insights based on feedback and common trends across partner schools.

At this time, the tiles shown on the Dashboard are fixed and cannot be edited or removed by admins. 

However, the data updates automatically to reflect your institution’s current environment and housing cycle activity.

Future Enhancements

As feedback continues to shape the future of this feature, we’re actively working toward adding more overview options and supporting deeper customization. This includes the ability to pin institution-specific data from custom-built reports and tailor the Dashboard based on admin roles or campus priorities. Have suggestions?
